estas personas casi nunca tienen el propósito
de hacerle daño. De cualquier manera, ésta
es una forma de maltrato infantil.
El síndrome del
niño sacudido
es un cuadro
que el oftalmólogo no se puede dejar de
conocer, no sólo por su aspecto asistencial
sino por las implicancias médico legales
que tiene y cuando se sospecha abuso en
niños el examen oftalmológico es primordial
para detectar hemorragia intraocular, siendo
el principal signo del síndrome del niño
maltratado.
